Meditation teaches us to take time out of our busy lives, to let go of external distractions and focus our attention inward, finding the connection to peace and contentment within. Meditation creates a foundation for peace of mind, stress management, self awareness and spiritual refreshment. Individual and class instruction is available. The methods taught are based on mindfulness techniques and visualization to develop the ability to be calm yet alert and enhance self awareness and contentment.
The guided meditation is suitable for both the beginner and the experienced meditator.
Mindfulness based meditation for relaxation, focus and clarity of mind
Just sitting, quietly, in a focused and alert way. The guided meditation sessions run for 30 or 45 minutes and are based on the mindfulness techniques used for thousands of years to induce calmness, wellbeing and clarity of mind. They are suitable for beginners and experienced meditators.
Chi Gong and Mindfulness meditation
These relaxing yet refreshing sessions run for 30 or 45 minutes and begin with a gentle warm-up of the 5 basic chi (energy) building Chi Gong exercises, some standing meditation, then gently move into sitting Mindfulness meditation, often finishing with another round of the Chi Gong.
